“DUARA,”
“SOUND THE DRUM” SHOWN AT CUCALORIS, WVIFF
TeleDrum’s
“Duara” and the documentary of its production,
“Sound the Drum,” were showcased along with
some of the best short and feature films at the ninth
annual Cucalorus Film Festival in Wilmington, NC. Producer
Daniel Boyd represented both films at the five day festival
March 19-23. The films received a good reception and according
to Boyd, gave filmmakers an opportunity discuss using
their craft both for entertainment and social good. Having
previously shown at the West Virginia Filmmakers Festival
and West Virginia International Film Festival, both films
have received great praise for everyone involved.
